As first-time home buyers, we trusted that the seller’s realtor would handle this process professionally and honestly. Instead, we felt misled and taken advantage of. He reached out to us encouraging us to move forward with buying the home, giving us every impression that we were the buyers he was working with — only for us to later find out he was still fishing for higher offers behind the scenes. His communication was inconsistent and often unhelpful. Messages went unanswered, simple questions dragged on for days, and the lack of transparency added unnecessary stress to what is already an overwhelming process for new buyers. The entire experience left us feeling strung along and used, rather than supported or respected. What should have been an exciting milestone turned into weeks of frustration and confusion because of his unprofessional, unclear, and discouraging behavior. No first-time buyer should have to feel like their time and hopes are being played with this way. Based on our experience, we strongly caution anyone — especially first-time buyers — against working with this realtor.
